SCOTLAND’S DUMBARNIE LINKS UNVEILS NEW INTERACTIVE WEBSITE
FIFE, Scotland – OB Sports is proud to announce a new, interactive website for Dumbarnie Links is live and accessible for users all over the world interested in Scotland’s newest true links golf course. Set to open on the 16th of May, 2020, the stunning Clive Clark design is located in the “Home of Golf,” just nine miles from St Andrews.
“The new website will allow players to learn the story of this amazing golf course and property, as well as give them access to experience Dumbarnie Links for themselves,” said Matt Molloy, Senior Vice President of Operations for OB Sports. “It offers great content for every player wanting to know more about Dumbarnie Links. The new photo gallery shows what we already believe: Dumbarnie is destined to be a world class links golf course. We are really excited to share it with golfers across the globe.”
Designed to make the browsing experience user-friendly, the new website includes an enhanced photo gallery that gives players vivid imagery of what they can expect during a round at Dumbarnie Links, direct access to book tee times online (Course opens for play 16 May 2020), scorecard, course map, and more. More features will follow including hole flyovers, menus, and the ability to purchase merchandise and logo’d apparel online. Fans of Dumbarnie Links can also sign up for the latest updates and progress on the project through the “Contact Us” feature.
Playing as a 6,905-yard Par 72, Dumbarnie Links is built upon land that is part of the historic Balcarres Estate. Its 345 acres of genuine sandy links land offers unobstructed views over the Firth of Forth, a 10-mile wide stretch of water, offering views of Muirfield, North Berwick and Edinburgh. The routing is a departure from the usual. Instead of the traditional out-and-back layout, Clark explained that the Dumbarnie Links is a “mix of two big loops with elevated tees facing into the Firth of Forth.”
