POSITION:  CORPORATE ACCOUNTANT - OB SPORTS GOLF MANAGEMENT

As our business continues to grow under Troon ownership, we are searching for a Corporate Accountant to assume this new opportunity. 
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Process billing of all revenue and reimbursable expenses for domestic and international customers.  Assist corporate accounting team with associated billing questions.
  • Support AR management and collections.
  • Daily posting of transactions and maintenance of accounting schedules for fixed assets, capital leases, and intangible assets.
  • Facilitate the month-end close process by posting general ledger journal entries, reconciling various balance sheet accounts.
  • Assist with financial statement audits, including preparation of supporting documentation and footnotes to the financial statements.
  • Delivery of Financial Results and Analyses to Troon Corporate Headquarters.
  • Ad-hoc projects and reporting or analysis as needed.
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or Associate’s degree with equivalent combination of education and experience.  Degree in accounting preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to speak effectively and write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to manage priorities and multitask.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices; basic bookkeeping and accounting procedures including accounts receivable, general ledger reconciliation and preparation of journal entries.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills – Work, Excel, Outlook.
  • Familiarity with Dynamics 365 a plus.
  • Ability to read and speak English is required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates are required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).
