Reports To: Regional Director of Food & Beverage/Corporate Director of Food & Beverage

Position Purpose
Oversees the overall operation of the Food and Beverage department. Responsible for administering all phases of the Food & Beverage Standards and Training packet for the Food & Beverage department. Responsible for achieving the vision set forth in the Food & Beverage statement; to treat guests and staff with respect, and cultivate warmth, friendliness and pride. Represents the course in a professional and exemplary manner and promotes the success of the course to guests, staff and any other parties.

General Description of Duties and Responsibilities
• Outlines and administers the service standards of the Food & Beverage department.
• Hires, trains and supervises Food & Beverage staff.
• Places food and supply orders as appropriate.
• Supports staff by being present on the dining room floor and overseeing that guest needs and expectations are met.
• Schedules and monitors labor in an efficient, productive and profitable manner.
• Receives products and verifies invoice pricing, quantity and that the product meets facility’s specifications.
• Accurately and punctually completes administrative work, to include weekly scheduling of staff, weekly labor report and bi-weekly payroll submittal.
• Maintains the highest level of integrity with the company, guests and fellow employees.
• Holds self and co-workers to the highest standards.
• Presents a clean, neat and professional appearance.
• Follows policies related to employee safety, as well as workplace injury reporting requirements.
• Maintains knowledge of products, prices and purveyors.
• Understands and complies with all applicable health regulations and liquor laws.
• Responsible for proper use and maintenance of equipment.
• Demonstrates knowledge of inventory and labor controls, time management and human resource management policies.

Experience / Education / Certification Requirements
• High School education or its equivalent.
• Prior experience in Food & Beverage operations.
• Must have basic computer skills, experience with POS system.
• Must have good telephone skills and customer relation/communication skills.
• Must be able to accurately handle monetary transactions.
• Local health and alcohol awareness training to be provided.

Physical Requirements
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. to waist height.
• Frequent bending turning, kneeling and stooping
• Exposure to hot and cold temperatures
• Must be able to stand for extended periods.
• Repetitive motion required, including computer entry.
• Must be able to operate a golf car in a safe manner
• Must be able to fluently speak and write the English language.

Other Requirements
• Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
