Reports to:                               General Manager/Regional Sales & Marketing Lead

General Purpose:

Supports the sales team in delivering support services and sales and marketing administration to the facility. Has a general understanding of the sales and marketing process and is able to assist as required.


Creating and implementing facility specific marketing and communications plan – Social Media Strategy, Engagement and Implementation-Internal and External Communications – Liaison with Resort and Corporate Marketing Team – Group Golf Sales Support – Competitive Set Analysis.

Essential Duties:

  • Prepares Group/wholesale
  • Assists in creating banquet event
  • Executes month end reporting procedures for the sales and marketing
  • Liaise with wholesalers and make aware of periodic updates, contracts and rate
  • Creates postings for specials, events, and
  • Maintains rates in EZ Links with assistance of Head
  • Assists DOSM with web site
  • Executes commission report for
  • Works with OB Sports/Troon Corporate to execute e-mail
  • Interacts with OB Sports/Troon advertising department with advertising
  • Manages database with OB Sports/Troon Corporate by processing data
  • Assists GM and Head Pro reviewing tee
  • Assists DOSM with direct mail and
  • Prepares thank you letters and surveys for groups on behalf of GM and
  • Distributes marketing materials to facilities, clients and
  • Assists with general administration duties as needed by
  • Implements and maintains excellent service to achieve guest
  • Provides additional support to banquet and catering department as
  • Regular and reliable
  • Performs other duties as
  • Other duties as requested and as deemed necessary.


Bachelor’s degree (BA); in marketing preferred.

2 – 4 years in a marketing coordinator capacity, hospitality preferred.

Physical Demands:

Regularly stands, walks and sits. Occasionally climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls or crouches. Regularly uses hands, reaches with arms and hands, talks or hears. Occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.

Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:

  • Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals used for the office are in English).
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal and sales-related skills.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision.
  • Assists in creating banquet event.
