As our business continues to grow, we are searching for a Shared Accountant to join our team. 

Key Skills and Responsibilities:
  • Successful candidates will be self-directed individuals that thrive in a fast paced, challenging and dynamic environment.
  • Position involves support in all facets of accounting including AP, AR, GL, Account reconciliations, daily revenue reporting, budgeting support, accounting controls, financial analysis support.
  • Analyzes and organizes financial data for reporting and database management.
  • Serves as a liaison to help ensure accounting and financial reporting policies and procedures are consistent with client and management company objectives.
  • Experience with golf industry related accounting and POS software and prior golf club or hospitality accounting experience preferred.
  • Successful candidate must possess the ability to communicate and present themselves in an effective and professional manner.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and project management skills desired.
  • Facilitate the month-end close process by posting general ledger journal entries, reconciling various balance sheet accounts.
  • Assist with financial statement audits, including preparation of supporting documentation.
  • Ad-hoc projects and reporting or analysis as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or Associate’s degree with equivalent combination of education and experience. Degree in accounting preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to speak effectively and write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to manage priorities and multitask.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices; basic bookkeeping and accounting procedures including accounts receivable, general ledger reconciliation, and preparation of journal entries.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills – Word, Excel, Outlook.
Ability to read and speak English is required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates are required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).
