Position Description
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to promote goodwill and exceptional customer service to the guests of Sandpines Golf Links, with experience working in the Norhtwest region of the United States.

This position reports directly to the Head Golf Professional and will assist with the day-to-day activities within the golf operation.
General Description of Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain a positive and enthusiastic interaction with the guests and staff of Sandpines Golf Links
  • Employee Housing a possibility
  • Assist Head Golf Professional to supervise, direct and lead golf operations staff
  • Assist the Head Golf Professional in conducting well organized golf events for the guests of Sandpines Golf Links
  • Be available to teach the game of golf and run organized clinics to include successful junior golf programs and new player development initiatives
  • Assist in golf shop accounting and bookkeeping activities
  • Assist guests as they check in for their tee times and maintain a properly functioning tee sheet at all times
  • Support the Head Golf Professional and the Merchandiser with daily and monthly merchandising needs
  • Complete product knowledge
  • Displaying merchandise
  • Maintaining proper inventory levels
  • Maintain the golf shop in a neat, clean and orderly manner at all times
  • Assist in conducting monthly inventories
  • Experience in Cybergolf reservation programs preferred but not required. Jonas POS knowledge helpful
  • Must have good communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Must be able to work a variety of shifts (opening/closing, etc.)
  • Must be able to follow all procedures and policies as set forth by the General Manager/Head Golf Professional and OB Sports
  • Must be a specialist with internal and external customer service and be a leader in total customer satisfaction
  • Perform all other duties deemed reasonable and necessary as requested by the Head Golf Professional

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds waist high
  • Frequent bending, kneeling and stooping
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to fluently speak and write the English language
  • Normal vision and hearing ranges required

Experience/Education/Certification Requirements

  • Excellent people skills
  • High School Diploma
  • Completed level 1 PGA certification
  • Proficiency with computers and repetitive motion related to data entry
  • Must have accurate math skills
  • Must be able to operate a golf car in a safe manner
  • Employee housing a possibility
