TIJERAS CREEK GOLF CLUB VOTED 'BEST GOLF COURSE' BY READERS OF SOUTHLAND GOLF MAGAZINE

March 2nd, 2016

Also ranked first place for ‘Best Value’; first place for ‘Best 19th Hole’; third place for ‘Best Scenic View’; and third place for ‘Best 18th Hole.’

RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, Calif. — Tijeras Creek Golf Club was voted as the “Best Golf Course” by the readers of Southland Golf Magazine: Southern California Golf and Lifestyle. The club also took first place in the “Best Value” and “Best 19th Hole” categories.  And in both the “Best Scenic View” and “Best 18th Hole” rankings, Tijeras Creek place third.

“We’re thrilled to be recognized by Southland Golf and its readership,” said Rick Convertini, General Manager of Tijeras Creek Golf Club.  “It is quite the accomplishment to place first in three of the five categories and third in the other two; especially when you consider the competition.”

The rankings appeared in Southland Golf’s January issue – The Best of Southland Golf 2015 – and as Convertini mentioned, the competition was stiff.  Pelican Hills Golf Club, located in Newport Beach, came in second place.  Black Gold Golf Course, in Yorba Linda, finished third.  Arroyo Trabuco Golf Club came in fourth place; and Monarch Beach Golf Links place fifth.

“It’s very rewarding to get such positive feedback from local OC golfers,” said Dale Moseke, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for OB Sports.  “Team Tijeras Creek takes pride in providing a wonderful experience, both on and off the golf course.  This award certainly validates their hard work.  Congratulation to them.”
