POSITION:  FOOD & BEVERAGE MANAGER - EAGLE MOUNTAIN GOLF CLUB

Seeking an experienced, energetic and results oriented Food and Beverage Manager. Eagle Mountain Golf Club is a premiere golf club located near Scottsdale, AZ and has a full service restaurant. The Grille features breakfast and lunch in a casual atmosphere.  In addition to “The Grille” the club has a Special Events Pavilion specializing in weddings, business luncheons, meetings and golf event catering.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Lead all guest components including excellent food quality, guest service, friendliness and restaurant cleanliness.
  • Oversee all Dining Room and Kitchen operations
  • Oversee Special Events Coordinator and Special Events operations
  • Must possess solid understanding of revenue generation and expense control
  • Responsible for input on annual financial forecasting and monthly P&L statements
  • Complete monthly variance reports based on actual revenues/expenses compared to forecast
  • Ensure cash management procedures are completed accurately
  • Monitor adherence to health, safety and hygiene standards in kitchen and restaurant
  • Ensure compliance with restaurant security procedures
  • Manage staff performance in accordance with established standards and procedures
  • Implement standard operating procedures
  • Oversee and complete monthly inventories (food, beverage and bar) and forward to General Manager, Accounting and Corporate
  • Assist Chef in designing menu’s with a focus on maintaining an overall cost of sales of 31%
  • Assist Special Events Director in set up, implementation, food prep and tear down of all large events
  • Experience in updating and creating menus  
  • Excellent computer skills and knowledge of POS systems
  • Ensure alcohol regulations are adhered to according to AZ. State Law
  • Some cooking experience and able to assist line when business levels dictate
  • Approve weekly timesheets and process all invoices
  • Handle all restaurant marketing
  • Lead all F&B hiring, recruiting and training
  • Strong focus on operational excellence
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong communication skills
Required Experience:
  • Food and Beverage : 3 years minimum
  • Food and Beverage Management: 2 years minimum
Required Licenses or Certifications:
  • Food Handler
  • Liquor Certification
