POSITION:  DIRECTOR OF REVENUE MANAGEMENT - OB SPORTS CORPORATE


Reports To:                  Vice President of Marketing
 
Position Purpose:        This position will understand the dynamics of the local Competitors and measure performance on all distribution channels, to ensure that fair market share is achieved if not surpassed.  This person will also assist the Course Relations & Marketing Team in devising marketing plans/tactics, to ensure that revenue maximization is successful.
 
General Description of Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ability to identify opportunities within a portfolio of many public and private golf courses to maximize revenues by utilizing all technology and tools available.
  • Researching the market/industry and effectively communicating amongst all relevant departments.
  • Identify all opportunities to find the right rate for the right customer at the right time to ensure the company’s portfolio of courses become Market Leaders.
  • Manage and/or be proficient in budgetary responsibilities to determine revenue managed successes and/or failures for each individual golf course.
  • Understand and utilize all available technology according to company specific business goals and requirements.
Experience / Education / Certification Requirements:
  • College degree.
  • 5 years’ experience in golf or a hotel related environment with a minimum of 2 – 3 years of tee time or revenue management experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivated, takes initiative while being a team player, strong organizational skills, efficient in work, strong leadership abilities and able to communicate effectively.
  • Proficiency in any of the following is a plus:  Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Salesforce, HubSpot and GoToMeeting.
