POSITION:  CHEF/KITCHEN MANAGER - EAGLE MOUNTAIN GOLF CLUB

Reports To:   Food and Beverage Manager
 
Job Opportunity:      Eagle Mountain Golf Club in Fountain Hills, AZ is seeking an energetic, qualified Chef / Kitchen Manager to join our Food and Beverage team. 
 
Position Responsibilities: The Chef/Kitchen Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day culinary operations. including the training and development of Club staff & team members.  He/She will also be responsible for leading and helping to direct the menu planning, recipe creation, food ordering, food production, storage, safety and sanitation standards, and labor staffing and scheduling.
 
Candidate Experience and Qualifications
  • Must have a minimum of 3-5 years’ related experience.  
  • Excellent culinary knowledge and skills, with exceptional creative abilities.  Proven success with guest satisfaction, revenue generation, cost management, staff training & development, menu planning and development, and budget preparation experience    
  • Event preparation and execution experience is required.    
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills     
  • Must be able to both give and follow clear direction, working as the leader and as a member of the team.
  • Comfortable and professional when interacting with members and resort guests during daily activities and events .
  • Demonstrable leadership skills.  Previous success in developing and training employees.     
  • Basic computer skills

  • Be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and nights as necessary in order to adapt to the needs of the Club.
Experience / Education / Certification Requirements:
  • Prior experience as executive, sous chef or working chef.
  • Proven leadership experience.
  • Obtain and maintain current foodservice certification.
